Dreamweaver has a harsh learning curve for newbies on a deadline. it's so jampacked with features i think users get lost. it's been a good idea that some of our web editing has been done in Mozilla, or simply Word (which is a nice easy web creator).
even for myself, having put together a couple webpages, Dreamweaver is steep, but i'm so persistant (up till 5am) that i've come to appreciate the program.
my biggest complaint is dealing with WebCT, it makes it real tricky to create a working webpage/website - upload, delete, upload, delete - i'm still not sure why the school can't give us a space for a real working website. one of the features in Dreamweaver is synchronization, & checking files in & out - so if i'm working on a page, & somebody else is working on it - the first person uploading will have their hard work replaced by the second person uploading their file. that's just one example.
otherwise this is being a lot fun, for newbies it's being frustrating, but we're all learning these new communication skills.
